The Lakeland Officials Association (LOA) is deeply committed to supporting the growth of local sports—not just by recruiting and training quality officials, but also by giving back to the communities we serve.
In 1998, we launched the LOA Scholarship Fund to recognize exceptional senior student-athletes in Waukesha County who demonstrate:
How the Program Works
Each year, LOA awards scholarships to deserving Waukesha County high school seniors. These awards are funded entirely by LOA officials, who voluntarily donate a portion of their game earnings throughout the year.
This act of giving back reflects our members’ gratitude to the schools, communities, and athletic programs that shaped their own lives.
Selection Criteria
Scholarship recipients are carefully chosen by our dedicated LOA Scholarship Committee. Each application is evaluated based on several factors, including:
Grade Point Average (GPA) and overall academic performance
How to Apply
If you are a senior student-athlete in Waukesha County, we encourage you to apply for the LOA Scholarship.
To be considered, please complete the following steps through our website:


Attach a Letter of Recommendation from a coach, teacher, or employer
